For Kids, Teens & Adults
My name is Anna Kemper, and I am a Sports Performance Coach and Sports Rehabilitation Specialist. With over a decade of experience coaching athletes in sports like soccer, hockey, and martial arts, my work has increasingly centered on applying this expertise to the unique demands of skateboarding. As a skateboarder myself, I understand firsthand the specific physical challenges and movement patterns the sport places on the body. I help skateboarders of all ages enhance strength, mobility, and performance while reducing injury risk.
My core focus is youth development, where the right training builds a strong foundation for lifelong athletic ability, better skateboarding performance, and safer progression.
Holding a Master’s degree in Biology, I combine the latest science in long-term athletic development with practical training that’s fun, safe, and effective.
I work with skateboarders across Southern California, offering in-home sessions or meeting at a location that works best for each client.
Proper training is essential for young skateboarders to build a strong foundation in strength, mobility, and balance, setting the stage for long-term athletic ability and safer skateboarding. By focusing on age-appropriate exercises, I help prevent injuries and enhance performance.
I work with kids and teens aged 7 to 18 who aspire to become professional skateboarders, helping them develop the skills that support both their passion for skateboarding and their overall physical health.
My program takes a unique, stage-based approach, progressing through training phases that align with key developmental milestones for young athletes. Rooted in Rhodri Lloyd’s long- term athletic development framework, each phase targets specific skills — from foundational mobility and strength to more advanced performance techniques — ensuring athletes progress at the right pace, with the right focus. This personalized progression maximizes each athlete’s potential, both on and off the board.
My program is a six-week, in-person training plan tailored specifically for skateboarders across Southern California. I bring all necessary equipment and meet athletes at their homes or at a location that works best for them.
The program includes one session per week, focused on developing stability, strength, speed, and power — key physical qualities for improving performance and preventing injuries.
In addition to performance training, I help correct movement limitations, address pain, and guide the rehabilitation of existing injuries. I also teach techniques athletes can use on their own to relieve pain, support recovery, and reduce injury risk.
To keep progress consistent, I offer ongoing support via phone or text, making it easy to stay on track and get questions answered between sessions.
